Geoffery Morgan

Geoff Morgan is Professor of Epidemiology and Environmental Health with the University of Sydney, Australia, and has more than 30 years experience in epidemiological research, as well as environmental health policy and education. He is a lead investigator on the NHMRC funded Centre for Research Excellence – The Centre for Clean Air; as well as the NHMRC funded Health Environments and Lives (HEAL) network where he co-leads the Bushfires, Air Pollution and Extreme Events Theme. He teaches environmental epidemiology as well as environmental health units of study in the University of Sydney Master of Public Health program. His current research includes: epidemiological studies into the health effects air pollution, heat, arbovirs and climate related hazards; as well as health burden and future impact assessments of environmental hazards and climate to inform policy translation.
