Bushfires, Air Pollution and Extreme Events will:
- Investigate the effects of exposure to fires, pollution, drought and heatwaves;
- Identify solutions to support evidence-based policy and practice;
- Address key research gaps in inter-related areas where integrating multidisciplinary approaches can modify environmental risk factors.

HEAL Network Investigators Webinar: Community-based climate adaptation interventions
Bringing together HEAL Bushfires, Air Pollution & Extreme Weather Events (BAPEE) researchers to examine how communities across regional and urban Australia experience and respond to climate-related hazards. The session highlights research on grassroots support for wellbeing in flood-affected communities and emerging work on Community Resilience Centres to reduce exposure to extreme heat and bushfire smoke.
