Yen Pham

Title: Dr

Yen works at CSIRO’s Australian e-Health Research Centre. Her research applies systems approaches, including systems thinking and dynamics modelling, to address cross-sector challenges including climate change and infectious diseases. Currently she is developing system dynamics models to explore the interactions among drivers of antimicrobial resistance across One Health (human, animal and environmental) domains and simulate future trends under alternative scenarios to inform policy.

Yen has a background in climate and environmental science and a PhD in environmental and agricultural studies, with a focus on system dynamics. Her interests include multidisciplinary approaches, both qualitative and quantitative, that integrate participatory methods with extensive stakeholder engagement. She enjoys using modelling tools (e.g. Vensim, Stella Architect) to design and evaluate intervention scenarios that support decision-making.
