Dr. Sopheak Hem is a Postdoctoral Researcher at SAAFE CRC, UniSA, specializing in AMR and One Health. Formerly an AMR Group Lead at the Pasteur Institute in Cambodia, she has over 10 years of experience in leading clinical microbiology and infectious disease research and as a University Lecturer. With dual doctoral degrees from Cambodia and France in Clinical Microbiology, she previously served as an Assistant Laboratory Manager at a Paris Hospital, France. Dr. Hem graduated with a PhD from UTS, focusing her work on AMR in the environment, and has experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Associate in microbiology.
