Pattheera (Paire) Somboonsin is a postdoctoral research fellow at the HEAL Global Research Centre, University of Canberra. Her PhD research focuses on mortality and morbidity linked pollution in the Asia-Pacific region. She has background in social research and demography, specialising in quantitative analysis and demographic modelling. Paire previously worked as a research assistant at the ANU School of Demography and the Centre for Indigenous Policy Research. She is passionate about data-driven research and aims to provide insights into population health, particularly in climate change and environmental health, to support policy, improve public health, and enhance well-being.
